I’ve put together a new site, Zainichi Studies, with the help of a mostly U.S.-based scholars to publicize Zainichi context and history for people who might be curious about the field, thanks to the Pachinko TV show (which is excellent, by the way). Hopefully it’ll mitigate the proliferation of bad takes on the show by journalists who might not be familiar with the area.
